Craig Fire/Rescue actively
recruits men and women who have an interest in the fire
service and can demonstrate the commitment and dedication
necessary to be a productive employee of the fire
department.
Craig
Fire/Rescue is a dedicated team of highly skilled men and
women whose mission is to save lives, property and the
environment in the safest, most efficient manner possible.
Each
year, Craig Fire/Rescue hosts an annual fire academy
beginning in January to train and develop state certified
firefighters.
Craig Fire/Rescue will accept applications from new
recruits year-around and will offer mini-academies
throughout the calendar year to provide interested
individuals with the opportunity to participate on the
fire team until the fire academy begins the following
January, at which time they will be added to the academy
class.
Craig
Fire/Rescue strives for perfection an settles for
excellence. Excellence requires commitment – commitment to
self, commitment to the department, commitment to the
brotherhood/sisterhood. Becoming a firefighter is a
demanding and rewarding endeavor, but requires completion
of an intense training program and many volunteer hours.
It is the training and the knowledge of each individual
firefighter that ensures his or her safety as well as the
safety of his or her brothers and sisters.
